Welcome to Hartshill Clay Resort the perfect pottery studio to find love. Nestled in a lush, romantic garden, it offers the perfect backdrop for fostering connection and creativity. Each month, I plan to host exclusive Singles Clay Nights for a small group looking to unwind, be creative, and meet someone special. Forget typical singles events, pubs and dating apps. Instead, my interactive pottery sessions blend social enjoyment and mindfulness. Plus you get to learn a new skill and have a good laugh with like minded folk.

Monthly Clay Nights for Singles

Singles Clay Nights will take place every Friday, focusing on different age groups, which promotes a comfortable atmosphere:

Depending on interest, I am initially planning:

• First Friday of the month: Singles in their 20s
• Second Friday of the month: Singles in their 30s
• Third Friday of the month: Singles in their 40s
• Last Friday of the month: Singles over 50

Each event begins with introductions and ends with anticipation to create something unique for yourself while potentially finding a romantic connection.

What You’ll Create

You can make anything you like. Choose from various pottery-making techniques, guided by me:

• Potter’s Wheel Experience: Take turns on the potter’s wheel to learn the basics of throwing a pot. Create your artistic masterpiece while striking the famous “ghost pose” for an unforgettable selfie with new friends amidst the magic of clay.
• Sculpting: Create your small pot, animal, or figurine. My popular flower folk sculptures are simple yet rewarding.
• Coiling Pots: Discover relaxation by rolling clay into sausage shapes to build your bowl or vase.
• Mug or Vase Making: Craft a personalized mug or vase using my slab roller using material or my impression rollers to create texture.
• Flower Making: Most participants leave with a flower creation. You can even make a bouquet and vase!

Although I have only one potter’s wheel, taking turns ensures everyone experiences this exciting craft.

Pricing and Group Size

To maintain an intimate experience, each Singles Clay Night is limited to 5 men and 5 women. For just £50 per person, enjoy a delightful two-hour session from 7 PM to 9 PM. This includes all materials, expert instruction, and refreshments.

All items created will be fired, and participants can return for a colour and glazing session. Some items can be coloured in the session. These will be fired twice for gloss and can be collected in a few weeks.
